Kui talvekuu on paratamatu,
taevas peitub hallusse,
maa kangestub,
et hakkame igatsema lund.
Lumelätteil taevas on lähemal,
ja suured linnud, kes lendavad sajus.

When November is inevitable,
the sky hides in grayness,
earth grows stiff,
and we start to wait for snow.
The sky is near snow’s source,
as are large birds soaring through snowfall.
