This October, Estonian writer, translator and literary theorist professor Jüri Talvet will participate at the 5th World Humanities Forum in Busan, South Korea. His plenary session “Can World Literature (Re)vitalize Humanities?” will focus on the substantial world literature overview that will be published by University of Tartu Press in three volumes (From Ancient Literatures to Today, 2018–2019) and new English-language Estonian Writers Online Dictionary project which is being coordinated by Arne Merilai and Jüri Talvet, involving a number of younger scholars and students of the University of Tartu.
